COVID-19
Our Commitment to you:
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our top priority
We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and employees here at Happy Holidays Motorhomes.
We ensure that our standards meet the latest guidelines on hygiene and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi and viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene to cleaning product specifications for our motorhomes, laundry facility, workshop and office.
Here are some specific steps we are taking:
Employee Health, Safety and Knowledge: Our employees and their own health, safety and knowledge are essential to an effective cleaning program here at Happy Holidays Motorhomes and here are some ways we’re supporting them:
Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent handwashing is vital to help combat the spread of germs and viruses. In our meetings, our employees are reminded that cleanliness starts with this simple act. It’s important for their health and that of our guests.
Ongoing Training: In addition to training on cleaning, preparation and hygiene protocols, we are monitoring local health authority and government guidelines on preventative measures and WHO (World Health Organization) awareness information.
Cleaning Products and Protocols: We use cleaning products and protocols which are effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses in the following areas:
Motorhomes: Using cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean motorhomes after guests depart and before the next guests arrive. At the end of the cleaning process, units are fogged completely with DR Thym Disinfectant which kills 99.99% of bacteria, fungi and viruses. This Health Canada approved product contains a non-irritating and non-toxic formula, biodegrades easily, and more than 98% of ingredients come from renewable sources. We have also implemented a strict 72 hour Dormancy period between departed and arriving guests to ensure the safety of our staff as well as our guests.
Laundry, Workshop and Office: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in these areas, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, counters, operating panels as well as frequently used equipment. These areas are also regularly fogged with DR Thym.
Open Air Employee Picnic Area: Table and benches are disinfected frequently.
Physical Distancing: Most of our work is done in open air spaces. In order to maintain 2m physical distancing at all times only one person is allowed at any one time in the confined workshop area as well as in the laundry. During the handing over of motorhomes, apart from our ambassador, only one guest is allowed inside the motorhome.
Temporary Restrictions:
